Kids Sewing Camp: Stitch, Snack, and Play!

Four Half-Days of Creativity, Confidence, and Fun

Looking for a summer activity that’s hands-on, screen-free, and genuinely enriching? Our Kids Sewing Camp is the perfect place for young makers (ages 8 and up) to learn a lifelong skill in a fun, supportive environment.

Over the course of four half-days (8:00 AM – 11:30 AM), kids will learn the fundamentals of sewing while completing real projects they’ll be proud to bring home. From threading a machine to stitching their first seams, we guide each step with patience and encouragement—no experience needed!

We provide everything: sewing machines, tools, materials, and plenty of inspiration. All your child needs to bring is curiosity (and maybe a snack craving—we’ve got those covered too).

Each morning includes:

• Skill-building sewing lessons
• Breaks and snacks
• A short walk to a nearby park to stretch and recharge

Projects include sewing and taking home:

• 2 Stuffed animals
  
• A zippered pouch to store trinkets
• A pillow

Whether your child is totally new to sewing or already loves making things by hand, this camp is a joyful introduction to creativity and independence.

Q: What is the minimum age?
Kids must be 8 years old or older

Q: What materials do I need?
Nothing! We provide everything for them, including sewing machines

Q: Can a kid as young as 8 really learn to sew?
Absolutely! In fact, I've found that kids often pick it up much faster than adults! 

Q: How long is the workshop?
 8 AM - 11:30 AM each day. Breaks, snacks, and a quick walk to a nearby park are included as well.
